Vaccine Administrative Day

As a reminder, Georgia Tech will remain open on September 3, 2021. The following guidance is provided in compliance with the intent of Governor Kemp’s Covid-19 Vaccination Day for state employees.

To encourage unvaccinated USG employees to schedule their Covid -19 vaccine appointment by December 31, 2021, and to thank those who are already vaccinated, the USG will provide employees with eight (8) hours of administrative leave. This leave is in lieu of and aligns with Governor Kemp’s Vaccination Day closing of state offices on September 3, 2021. To make this process as convenient as possible while maintaining service to our students and campus community, Georgia Tech employees may request time off for approval from September 1 to December 31, 2021. Student employees are not eligible for Vaccine Administration Leave.
